Hayze is learning to point to each word as he reads a story. He is learning to look at the pictures so that he knows what the words say.

Hayze has an amazing memory and uses this in reading, so much so that he can remember the story after only reading it once and will then say the words without even looking at the text.  We are working on one to one matching and at the same time reminding Hayze to look at he pictures to help him.  We will provide Hayze with lots of opportunities to practice throughout the school week and we will send home his reading book so that he can practice at home.
