Hayze and the fire engine

Hayze is learning to observe changes that occur and compare them to a similar activity to see if the outcome is the same

Hayze is an enthusiastic participant during our science experiments.

Hayze is adding food colouring to a bowl of milk.

Hayze is adding a drop of dish washing liquid to the food colouring in the milk.

Hayze was so excited watching the colours swirl and move when the dish washing liquid was added to the food colouring in the milk.  The fatty particles of the milk are separating causing the colour to move.  Fascinating!

Hayze is learning to participate in small group work or play with minimum support

Hayze enjoyed dressing up during our guided play session of dress up.  He had to really think and problem solve about how to get into a billowy skirt.  He loves being a part of a group although he can dominate, this is something we will work on with Hayze.  He has  settled quickly into the routines of room 2.  Great start Hayze.
